I teamed up with Alberto for this project, aiming to craft an outstanding user experience for those in need. Our key objectives included:
- Identifying prevalent issues across various sites and conducting thorough research analysis.
- Developing a user-friendly website for seamless and effortless user interaction.
- Applying best practices to address issues uncovered during the research phase.
- Ultimately, constructing a prototype to bring our vision to life.
Research
To initiate my research I conducted a competitive benchmark analysis involving four prominent psychotherapist websites. While I identified effective practices from some, I also uncovered several shortcomings in others.
Following the completion of the benchmarking process, we engaged in a detailed discussion regarding each website I assessed. This discussion highlighted crucial areas where we need to exercise greater caution.
Wireframes
I completed the wireframe and later reviewed it together. Following our discussion, we mutually agreed that the inclusion of cards was excessive. We decided to omit them. However, I retained them in the wireframe as a reminder of why it’s not a suitable idea.
It takes about 2 minutes.
Encountering challenges as non-developers, we faced compromises, particularly with the Contact Us page. However, through renewed collaboration, Alberto successfully executed the implementation of this project component, giving his best effort to bring it live.
